My friend Richard has the best prices and coolest Interent cafe in New Orleans. If you walk in and don’t see him, he is either at the grocery store or next door at Glass Magik, snarfing up some food.

After the Gulf Coast Claims facility opened Richard spent most of his days processing thousands of claims for workers in the French Quarter trying to keep their lives together. Most had very little computer experience.

And the irony is, he was turned down by the GCCF for his own claim. As if the down turn in business did not affect an internet cafe which thrives on the tourist trade.

Now that the GCCF is under Federal jurisdiction and the disqualified claims can be reexamined, I hope he gets his claim which was denied because of “Industrial Classification”.

The six months I spent in New Orleans could only have been accomplished though the existence of this business. His help with photo processing and networking to get me odd jobs so I could fund this blog were invaluable. Best of luck to the Internet Cafe on Toulouse.
