Bywater Market New Orleans

Bywater Market New Orleans is the hippest market in Bywater neighborhood New Orleans, make sure to say hi to Coco at the deli counter. It’s like a Trader Joes, but better, because it’s not Trader Joes

Coco will hook you up

The is one of those places you stumble upon. So I am not giving out the address, just walk around the Bywater hood, and you will get there. When you do, lunch can be had for under $6 drink included.

As for Coco, she is Creole, so she might have her alligator on a leash. Don’t pet the alligator. Hardrock and Joe left after Katrina. We chatted out front of the place, she convinced me her Étouffée,  Jambalaya and Gumbo were the best in New Orleans. It’s hard to question a chick with a gator on a leash.
