Audubon Zoo Jaguar Jungle New Orleans

This zoo is like the San Diego Zoo, the animals have large habitats and seem very happy. The elephant came right up to me and windmilled her trunk. Then she batted her long eyelashes and whispered, “got a peanut big boy”. I was totally freaked out! How did she know I had a peanut?

The Peacock runs around like he owns the place. And when he is calling his girlfriend peacock, it sounds like someone is wacking him with a bag of quarters. Not french quarters, because they don’t accept foreign currency, not even in the French Quarter.
