The New Orleans Cake Cafe and Bakery Omelette

So, I am watching the local News this morning, and they are doing a story on a local bake shop in the Bywater,  The New Orleans Cake Cafe and Bakery.  A knock on my door brings in a neighbor who knows the owner(Steve).  Steve sold his pastries off of a tray by walking around the French Quarter. Now he has this wonderful New Orleans bakery on Spain Street in the Bywater. This man must know what hungry means, because the amount of food that he serves is outrageous. $8  gets you an omelette as big as your head, with a muffin as big as your fist. If you have a big head, you will be full for a while. If you have a head like a coconut, then the muffin will make up the difference and you will be full for a while. Either way, I was in New Orleans bakery breakfast heaven.
