My second trip to the Harvest the Music Food Bank concert series on Lafayette Square in the financial district Downtown New Orleans was just as much fun as last week when I heard Dr. John. I ran into the BP spokesperson who you see on the TV ads. She looks better in person. An announcer during sets said that 40% of Louisiana residents are on food stamps. All proceeds from the concerts go to the food bank here in New Orleans. Most of the folks in attendance have good jobs in downtown New Orleans.
The headliner tonight was Kermit Ruffins from the Treme.
