Treme’ (Pronounced Tre-MAY) is one of the oldest and most vibrant neighborhoods in the United States. Originally settled by Creoles and Free Persons of Color, Treme’ was the origin of the Civil Rights Movement in the South and birthplace to Jazz greats such as Jelly Roll Morton and Louis Armstrong. The Treme’ today, is home to artists, musicians, craftsmen and is a living, breathing, joyful piece of History!
