Occupy Las Vegas has arrived.  The crowd began gathering before the 3 PM meet time outside the NewYork New York Resort on the Las Vegas strip and the numbers continued to grow throughout the afternoon as the group took to the strip in a march of solidarity.  Estimates of the crowd size ran from a few hundred to more than a thousand.

Flipchip was there in the thick of it and sent photos plus random observations.  The age of the crowd ranged from college age youth to retired graysters.  Labor unions were there in force as were Las Vegas Metro police officers quietly maintaining the safety of the crowd.  A cacophony of auto horns honked their support to the crowds.

Heard in the crowd, “America, tear down this wall… street!”  Click here for a direct link to Flipchip’s Occupy Las Vegas photo gallery and check out all the Occupy photos from the Las Vegas strip.
